As You Age Public Service Announcement #2 (There's No Better Time...)

In May 2004, SAMHSA and the FDA launched a campaign to inform older adults about the dangers of combining medicines with alcohol and medication misuse. As part of that campaign, this public service announcement was created to encourage people to ask questions about the medications they take, guard against harmful interactions and misuse, and educate themselves about the dangers of mixing alcohol with medications. It also points toward the brochure “As You Age…A Guide to Aging, Medicines, and Alcohol” for more information.
