Emergency Department Trends from the Drug Abuse Warning Network, Final Estimates 1995-2002 (DAWN, Drug Abuse Warning Network)

Trends in the number of drug mentions in emergency department episodes are examined in this report. The study also compares the incidence of specific drug mentions in major metropolitan areas. Three reports were produced for each year: Mid-Year, which summarizes the preliminary data from January to June; Year-End, which summarizes the preliminary data from July to December; and Annual, which summarizes the year’s final data and makes comparisons to previous years’ trends. • Final Estimates 1995-2002
